vegetarian fare by chef and Fates owner Chanelle Sinclair with curated wine pairings by wine maven Kathleen Stewart, service by our friend and professional deliverer of wines, Kate O’Banion
1 seat: $150, includes all courses and wine pairings. $50 requested upfront to reserve your seat, with the remainder due after the dinner.
your favourite wines from the evening will be available to purchase by the bottle to take home as well.

sip: Prequel: LeBeau Batiste 'Terre de Chardonnay', fresh baked brioche, marzipan, honeyed almonds, lemon marmalade
savour: gluten free rye toast, tarragon moutarde beurre, radish, le beau and grapefruit infused sea salt, radish sprout
course two
sip: Premier: Cinque Terre dessert wine
sun-ripened raspberries in a field of herbs and freshly turned earth, viscous &luscious. Pairs with chocolate and fruit alike
savour: family style cheese course, seeded gluten free cracker, roasted fruit dusted with cacao + raw sugar, honeycomb
course three
sip: Deuxième: Lauer ‘Barrel X’ Riesling:
mangoes, pineapple, a rich and dense texture balanced by that hiiiiight Riesling acid. Little residual sugar without being overly sweet. pairs beautifully with spice
savour: eggplant fritti, almond chili crisp, herb salade, fennel pollen
course four
sip: Troisième: Petite Bonhomme ‘Mariole’: Grenache noir, bright raspberry and strawberries with a dark streak through the mid palate. Certainly chillable with an earthy undertone
savour: cherry et onion dutch pancake, rb's cherry demiglace, peppered goat cheese et creme fraîche, shallot vinaigrette dressed greens
course five
sip: Quatrième: Bow & Arrow Chenin Blanc: dense complexity, sexy reduction in that Loire kinda way, lemon, pear, quince, an herbal quality. Racing yet balanced acidity, full bodied
savour: green winter gazpacho: green bean, tomatillo,haus chickpea miso, calabrian chile et rosemary focaccia crisps
course six
sip: cinguieme: Vindioul’Amour est Cerise:
a little darker, a little brooding. black cherry reduction, toasty whisper of oak and earth
savour: polenta panzanella- charred parmesan polenta crouton, pasilla, roasted red bell, Vindiou-marinated sun dried tomato, romanesco, preserved lemon
course seven
sip: Sixieme: Le Champ d’orphee
deep and inky, a real nerdy wine. soft tannins, black currants, slight pyrizines/green pepper on the finish as it opens. incredibly complex, can pair with savory or chocolate
savour: shakshuka of tomato, peppers, garlic, urfa biber, cured egg yolk, carrot top cilantro chermoula, garlic flatbread
course eight
Finale: Cinque Terre: cigarette et coffee with a revisit of our Cinque Terre dessert wine and a cardamom waffle cookie rolled and filled with sunflower dark chocolat, salted espresso powder dust and a surprise after dinner treat
